Two posts in two days

Wow I'm on a small roll here!! Two post in two days! Don't get to spoiled. DH is out planting! That's right PLANTING! Out here in IA farmers are like bats outta hell the minute the weather get's nice. My DH included. I'm pretty impressed that they are planting this early. See DH and his family move very slow. Maybe not always on purpose. We usually have MANY breakdowns and we don't work when it get's dark. They are slowly getting nicer equipment so things move a little better. It's DH and his brother that do a majority of the farming. So right now DH is plowing and bro comes behind planting. I think they are probably planting corn. Corn can handle a little cooler weather as it is planting deeper then soybeans.

But in my life today it's been kind of crazy. The day started off with the kids and I sleeping till almost 745!! That is a record!! At 9 a contractor came over to take a look at some jobs i want him to do. See that's my other thing with planting season. Every season I try to tell DH no planting till XY& Z are done. Well 3 years later XY&Z aren't done. SO this year I came up with a plan. He'd better get as much done around here prior to planting or I'll use HIS line of credit at the bank (for farming) to complete things around here. So right now i have my $ for being on the board of directors BUT anything over and beyond that, I'm using his line of credit. I really don't like doing this, well ok maybe a little bit, but enough is enough. This house needs some things done to it.

So contractor came over and will get back to me with estimates. He worked last year on triming so lets see C got his hair cut and I got my eyebrows waxed. Then off to the bank and on to Shannan’s. Dean and C didn’t get a long to well. Dean really has a hard time sharing and he’ll end up pushing or spanking C which leaves C in tears. Shannan will jack Dean up, Dean wails goes in to the bedroom until he can pull himself together, comes out says he’s done goes back to playing and then it starts all over again!! I have a hard time really saying much to C b/c all I hear is Dean saying ‘no cason that mine’ At one point I put the ‘excavater’ (yes deans knows what every piece of machinery is) up b/c they couldn’t share it. That was fine with C but Dean had a hissy fit. So yeah we stayed a/b 1 ½ and it was time to go by then. I’m not sure what to think of Dean. He’s so smart in some ways and I think socially he is SO behind.

Then the kiddos napped and I was going to get my spring clothes out only to open the attic door to a mess of pictures. The tote they were in had fallen. What a MESS!! 1,000+ pics everywhere. So I went through some of them and pitched many. Then I sorted them and brought the wedding/honeymoon pics BACK upstairs. Got up there lost my balance and the pics fell back down the steps. Luckly only a/b 500 this time HAHAHA. Good grief…but wait it gets more depressing. Going through my clothes and NONE of them fit. I mean like 80% don’t fit!! So I’m washing them and giving some to the babysiiter and the nicer ones I’m taking to the consignment store. Gosh darn it tho I’m no longer NEAR a size 6 anymore and closer to the 9/10. It’s the darn stomach of mine. I have a pear shape body now. I really think lypo suction is what I need more then lasik surgery.

Then jeff’s niece is visiting so I took her out to eat with me. Came home and she gave the kids a bath in the sink while I showered, in PEACE, upstairs!! I came down to water EVERYWHERE and I mean everywhere. Just now I opened the door under the sink and water came pouring out!!! And speaking of water I went upstairs to put Addie to sleep and her humidifier had leaked water EVERYWHERE! Golly as I tell you all of this you’d think I’d be in a bad mood, but I’m not. But i'm tired!! The house is very quite haven't had the TV on all day. I think while typing this post is the longest i've sat all day.

I work harder at home then I do at work!!

I'm still here!! If I could consistently remember my login, i'd be here more often. After 50+ unsuccessful logins i'm finally in and now i'm so frustrated I don't even know what I was going to blog about.

DH is watching 'Deadlist Catch' on the Discovery Channel. Anyone watch it? Don't start, it's addicting! Speaking of shows FINALLY Sanjai is OFF of American Idol. How did he make it this far?? Oh that's right it's the little 10-13 yr old girls voting for him. And then theres Greys Anatomy. Love that show but it was hard tonite watching Izzy go through with the bone marrow testing for her daughter she had given up 12 years earlier. For obvious reasons that struck a chord in my heart.

Just shortly before my endless attempts at logging on, I was checking out some boards I belong too. Someone had started a thread about being angered at the partial birth abortion ban that got passed. Oh my gosh i had to log off. It bothered me so much especially because women posting about it are struggling themselves to get, or stay, pregnant. I'm not sure who my reader audience is, if anyone for that matter. I really don't want to go at this right now but let me say C was going to be aborted and thank GOD he wasn't. How can one think partial birth abortion is OK. My gosh that child is alive. It's moving in you it could survive.

I must stop or i won't sleep tonite i'm fighting tears back as I type. I saw Addies heart beating at 6 weeks don't tell me she was just a fetus. I felt her moving at 6 months.

And also my heartful prayers go out to those involved in the Virginia Tec murders. SICKENING is what it is. That jack ass makes me want to vomit that did this. And the attention the media is giving him?? That's exactly what he wanted.

I'm pretty angry right now about a lot of issues. Not to mention at work all my outside plant information is GONE. I was glad to leave at 5 today. Discovered it at 4. Ready for the weekend and looking forward to hanging with the kiddos. Jeff's neice is visiting so i'm looking forward to spending time with her.

Good gravy I forgot my login so I had a post all ready but couldn't get in. But now here i am remembering my login and i SWEAR i typed the exact same thing in tonight that I have over the last few days. How many logins can one have?? Speaking of which at work I'm having to constantly change my passwords and it's driving me nuts! What's the point of a password when i have them posted all over my computer and other various places. I've gotten to the point where i'm just adding a '1' '2' '3' on the end of one word. Do you all have any creative ones? And this throwing in a $#@)% now good grief.

Speaking of 'numbers' C is a counting fool. It's so darn cute. Tonite I read him Baby Bop's Counting and he counted all the way to 10 it's just the sweetest thing. Of course A was sitting on the bed while we read eating one of his books and that he didn't like, oh no he was rather iritated with her. She just smiled at him and wondered what the heck happened when he took her book.

Also as I was passing by the deck doors i noticed something in the field. I was like are those COWS. Nope, deer. They were right at the edge of the grass/field. They were following something and here it was a cat!! They were so intrigued with that and followed it right up to our deck. I tried to tape it but as luck would have it, the tape was full. Probably was to dark anyway. Deer really aren't an unusual site around here and I actually am rather peeved with them for eating our evergreen trees. But watching them chase that cat was rather amusing.

Speaking of cat, don't you just love how I flow in to one subject hence why the guys at work can never understand why us women can be a part of 5 different conversations at once and never miss a beat!! I LOVE doing that!! anyway our momma 'ethel' had her kitten(s) We can only find one. She's a horrible mother. She can only keep one alive and usually she hides it. But this time it's right in the cat kennel outside. The sad part is i think she scared all our other cats away. She's a bitchy cat!!

Ok i'll stop with my ramblings!! Maybe later i can tell you about the weekend, after all that was what this post was to be about.
