Friday afternoon we went to Epcot. We had a lot of fun there. So much fun that we didn't leave till 11!!!!! That's PM::) We had supper at Mexico. It was inside this huge bldg. The atmosphere was awesome. It was dark with a volcano in the background that would erupt. There was a pyramid too. The food was good and the kids did great:) After that we took a ride in a boat that was inside the restaurant. enjoyed that greatly!!We rode lots of rides that had LONG waits. The last one we rode was a 60 min wait. I must not have been paying attention when DH and C'man stood in line that it was that long. Miss A was to short so we had to do the switch off. But the ride was called 'soaring' and you sat in what felt like a hang glider. You literally soared across the country. We soared over the ocean, mountains, golf courses, etc it was AMAZING. C'man LOVED it. He even went twice. He was more brave then i was. I screamed. DH informed me that know one screamed when they rode it. Of course if the guy sitting next to me would have been a man, he would have let me clench the arm rests! Was it worth the 60 min wait?? I think so. We caught the fireworks at Epcot and they were awesome!! We had 'late' park hours b/c of staying here at the resort. We rode Nemo, and as we were leaving we rode the ride in that big golf ball looking thing. Sorry neither of us remember what that's called. It was really really neat.So yeah, at the moment that I'm typing this it's 745AM and Miss A has been awake for a/b hr and C'man is trying to wake up. They continue to be awesome. the guys in front of us when C'man and I rode the Soar, said he acted better then most of the older kids they've seen. TODAY we are going to hang with niece Meg. We are so excited to spend today and tomorrow with her. We're not sure if will take a break for naps or let Miss A sleep in the stroller. Will play it by ear. They will be excited b/c they'll get to ride dumbo and the tea cups, or 'coffee cups' as she calls it.
Oh one of the first things we did @ Epcot was see the 3D movie of 'Honey I Shrunk The Audience' the kids didn't like it. To scary. A cuddled up in my arms and kept saying 'noooo'. At one point tho they put a mouse in this machine where it makes more of whatever you put in. Yeah, it made mice and they got released in to the audience. I'm not sure how they did it, but it felt like there was mice hitting your feat. I heard people screaming and i figured that's what was happening. Then WHAM it hit me. I screamed like no tomorrow. That was pretty good!
I must get the gang going.
