Animal Kingdom

We are back from our AM at Animal Kingdom. Miss A is sleeping in her stroller, DH in bed and C'man and I are up. We were @ AK when it opened @ 9AM. We rushed off to hit the Safari ride. The wait time was minimal and it was fun. The kids really liked it. Miss A screamed in delight at any sighting of birds. We saw hippos, elephants, giraffes, rhino and many more exotic animals all while on this safari vehicle. We ended up getting the Fast Pass for the 2nd ride b/c they kids wanted to go back.
We ate breakfast at the Tusker House with the characters. As expected they kids were scared. Especially Miss A. C'man liked goofy and we did get a picture with him.
We rode a train ride there too before heading back to the hotel.

I didn't particularly care for AK. It was super crowded, which I have a feeling will be now that the weekend is here, and it was a rain forest. So the trees were tall, lots of brush, African buildings, etc and i just felt confined. You had to take trails so so many things that were dark and you couldn't see.

After everyone is rested will head to Epcot where we have dinner reservations. Oh yesterday afternoon was Hollywood Studios. It was fun. We did some fun rides there. BUT our meal took forever. We ate at this 50's Diner. The atmosphere was great but the staff and wait time was horrendous. The food itself had a lot to be desired. But yeah, it sufficed us. We couldn't wait to get out of there b/c it was getting late and cousin Meg was going to be bringing us our groceries.

Alright I guess it's time for little C'man and I to take a walk. He apparently isn't going to sleep. He's watching me type away!
