Cattle Moving Pictures

As I said in my previous post, I've made it to the other computer where all the pictures are. So without further ado:
Either DH or BIL moving to cattle right along:

Cows moving down the hill and up the next one (very hilly). I have to add, that when I got out to take this picture i darn near stepped on a pheasant. Scared the heck out of me:)

The scenory along the way. Have i said how beautiful i think it is where we live.

Picture of a 'charolais' (a bred of cow) that i took while passing it to get to the front of the herd.

and now ME!! Wearing my hat that BIL gave us. I knew it would come in handy. I was wearing it in case i had to jump out to stop traffic. I ended up not having to get out at all.

Reaching final destination. This is after we cross the hwy. We run them thru a neighbor field, across a level B road, and in to our land. Don't worry there is a fence b/w cows and C'man. They would never purposely hurt you . I've been in the middle of the herd before. (by accident) They are used to people so it's not unheard of for DH to pat them on the back while moving. Of course we don't let the kids out very often. They ride with PaPa and or me. If C'man walks it's right along side DH. NOW if the dogs are out and a cow gets mad, they are likely to charge the dog which means the dang dog will run behind YOU! Yes that has happened to all of us. We get quite cross with the dogs then. They are then put in the back of the pick up to ride the remaining of the move.

DH helping C'man after fixing some fence.

And last but not least, my favorite picture..............
