Disney Day 1

We made it here! I'm actually typing this while in bed:) We are back for some downtime. Miss A is fast asleep and Mr C'man is sitting beside me coloring.
Before I get going you know our life is full of adventure and this will be too. We had no problems with getting to the airport, flight, etc .TILL we landed. I thought the airport seemed kind of small and I sure wasn't seeing all the Disney information that I thought I would see. Upon further investigation it was determined we were at the WRONG airport to take advantage of the shuttle services. SOOO after a slight panic at finding out taxi's were @ $120 to get us to our lodge, we called our niece Meg's.
Meg to the rescue. God bless her soul, heart, feet, you get the idea. AND she was only about 2o min from the airport and could come get us. PRAISE JESUS!! I remember tho her telling me 'now you're sure your travel agent knows you're flying to this airport right??'
I responded, yes b/c I gave her our flight information. So yeah, slight miscommunication BUT it all worked out. She brought us here to our beautiful hotel. Did i mention she had left over pizza in the car that C'man and I promptly scarfed down on! Oh and that we didn't have carseats with us!! We just buckled them. shhh
When we arrived I can't remember now what C'man said, but it was pretty funny. Something about being at Disney. Meg you remember?? They both were asleep but only Miss A remained asleep. In fact, she remained asleep during the entire check in, finding room, and I even got her in her jammies with so much as a stir. How wonderful is that.
C'man informed us he wasn't tired and wasn't going to bed. I just let him tell us that, b/c of course, we had different ideas. DH grabbed us supper and there we sat eating on the bed. We thought we were pretty cool. After all, it was 1030 and there we sat eating in bed. (Miss A still asleep)
Eventually everyone was asleep dreaming about the big day to come. Today we headed to Animal Kingdom. We got there @ 9 and stayed till @1230. In that time we saw a musical, parade, rode Dumbo, Merry go round, the tea cups (WHICH by they way, I'm still spinning from. DH thought it would be hilarious to spin the living daylights out of us. I have a video of it and I'm quite sure just me alone, is drop down hilarious), It's A Small World, which hasn't changed since i rode it years and years ago, Peter Pan and I think that's it. We grabbed a bite to eat, hopped on the bus, and now here we are.
After Miss A, and DH, wake up, we will be heading to Hollywood Studios, i believe, where we have supper reservations. Meg will meet up with us later this evening as she has made a trip to Target to get goodies for us (water, milk, etc)
Our room is great. The hotel is amazing. we were watching Zebra's on our way over here. We can see them too when they are near our hotel room, from our balcony. Everything is so animal kingdom. Very authentic. As of right now, I would only recommend staying in lodge. The amenities are amazing.
