I Could Vomit

The sight of corn I swear is going to make me vomit. I am so sick of corn that I thought I was covered in it during a dream. I did enough ears of corn to get me thru the entire year, if not next year. Below are pictures:
Before:

After:

During. Miss A and Mr C were playing restaurant. A was 'the customer' altho she repeatedly said 'i'm the princess' Oh does she ever have THAT right!

Cute I thought!!
What doesn't help during the process is Boji. He LOVES corn. I would think he'd be as sick of it as I am.
Please may I have a piece???

You think she'll notice??

GET A WAY!! MINE MINE ALL MINE!!!!
Ahhhh piece and quite!!
Really the next picture should be the first picture of him b/c he's right back for more. Silly dog!!
Here's a video of what the kids do while momma works! They only last so long 'helping'.
Add Image This was taken @ 1030PM! I had been doing corn for 3 1/2 hours STRAIGHT by now. That didn't include the 2 hours I did earlier in the afternoon. DH kept asking me questions about do you want more corn? Is there a box to put it in? I was just crosser then a hornet. I was like I'm armed with a knife, corn stuck to the bottom of my feet, blew up the electric knife cutting the corn, my back feet and other areas of my body are aching, and the heck with you! STOP ASKING questions that you can answer yourself.
I just started tossing bags of corn. After we took this I said boy this doesn't look like much. To which DH says AGAIN: You want more?? I about came after him with my knife LOL JK!!
NEXT YEAR, assuming I come out of the corn induced haze, I am NOT doing it alone! This job is meant for at least 2 people. I don't care if I have to HIRE someone to help, I'm not doing it alone.
That being said, after looking at corn for a week straight some of the corn starts looking....well....pretty interesting and your mind starts playing. So what do you think this looks like:
My next project is these pears as soon as they turn ripe. I will can them. They are THE BEST!!

I remember an assembly line that my aunts, my mom and my grandma made (about 5 people in all) washing, cutting, cooking, cooling, bagging or boxing the corn. Got loads of it done in an afternoon.
