-Why when I bake cookies are they ALWAYS FLAT!! Please shed some light to me on this one. It's driving me nuts!!
-The View, that whacked out TV show with that crazy Meredith?? is that her name....Gosh someone get her OFF!! She is a nut and drives me nuts. Why do i watch that show...they just all gang up on Elizabeth. I feel REALLY bad for her. I don't think I would have came back from maternity leave.

ok, did you know I have chickens? well, hens really, but anyway I have 7 of them and even in this bitter cold they are still laying eggs galore. so when I made cookies the other day I put an extra egg in just to see what would happen and the cookies were really thick. I've been told that shortening will keep the cookies taller because it has a higher melting point then butter and it makes them softer too and something to do with the eggs .... maybe really making sure they're beat in the batter, will make them taller too. I'm just guessing. but it's worth a try.
That's great about the adding an extra egg. I could try that!! I MUST try that! Thanks!
